As an audio book producer and director she supervised the recording of over four hundred books for the Library of Congress when she was the Director of the Audio Book Studio for the New York Public Library’s Andrew Heiskell Braille andTalking Book Library. These titles were specially formatted and made available for people visually impaired. She also produced commercially for Penguin, FSG, and Time Warner. Acclaimed productions include: producing and directing Ian McKellen in his reading of Robert Fagles’ translation of Homer’s The Odyssey, as well as working with authors William Kennedy, Jamaica Kincaid, Lawrence Block, Grace Paley and others.
